Wall of Heros

Daniel Jared Gunn
It's been 30 years since I've seen my sweet red headed son and angel, Jared. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him. January 17, 1992 was the worst day of my life. Even through my sorrow, I knew Jared could help someone have a second chance at life by giving his organs. Jared helped save six people's lives and I have had the privilege of meeting all but one of his recipients. Being a part of Team Mississippi is my way of keeping my son's memory alive. -Angela Melton

Kendrick Murry
My hero Kendrick Murry decided to be a donor on his own. He passed away in 2015, saving six lives. One gentleman is the Minister of Music at our church, Michael Minor which I designated a kidney to. The other was our cousin Clintoria Johnson which we found out on Mother's Day! That was truly a blessing. I'm so proud my son made that decision to think of others instead of himself. He'll be missed but he lives on. -Adrian Murry

Amber Warren
Amber is the daughter of Donnie & Tina Warren. She was only 14 years old when she was shot and killed by an air rifle. Through their grief, her parents decided to donate her organs which helped save four lives.
To keep Amber's memory alive, her parents host and annual event "Autographs for Amber" which raises awareness for Organ & Tissue Donation

Jamie Dunn
Jamie was a true country boy. He loved to hunt & fish. He was killed while riding his four wheeler. His mother Kim donated his organs. He gave life to three people.

Carmen Elizabeth Smith

Carmen was full of life and enjoyed life to its fullest. When her life was cut short at the age of 12, Carmen's family made the decision to donate her organs and she was able to save four lives with the donation of five organs. She was and is a true hero. #rideforcarmen
